For 100 to 200 Gb native capacity there is significant choice, from DAT / DDS, DLT autoloaders, to single tape units using SDLT,LTO and SAIT. There are a few points that need to be thought about, see our Tech-Tips page for some of them. This particular capacity is probably the most wide ranging in the solutions available, as the DAT/ DDS autoloaders start about here, along with some of the DLT solutions ( the capacities are for fully loaded autoloaders ), but you are also into the capacity of the newer generations of tape backup such as LTO, SAIT and SDLT.
