DAT media 4mm data cartridges, DDS1 (60M), DDS2 (90m), DDS3 (120m), DDS4 (125m), DDS5 (170m) and DDS72 (170m). All you need to know is the length of tape you require. Capacities from 1.3 to 72Gb (compressed). Most drives can read backwardly but check if they can write backwardly. Do regular restores to check everything is working and DO NOT FORGET to clean the heads regularly. |
